As a business we do not hold large quantities of personal data other than that which is for contractual necessity as most marketing communications are business to business. We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis.
Data to do with ordering and invoicing are kept for seven years in order to support our accounts obligations to HMRC.
If you are subscribed to a service, we will hold the data seven years after you have discontinued.
If you have sub-accounts, we will hold that data for 6 months after you remove them or 1 year after the expiry date of your subscription. Sub account contact information is only used for automated transactional communications.
If you are a sub-account user, you would have to contact the main account holder to manage your data.

Personal data of sub-account users

Sub-account users are the users that are added to a primary account holder’s subscriptions, e.g the students of a teacher training course. These users are added and managed by the main account holder themselves unless we are asked to support them.

Sub accounts only contain basic information required to enable access to the site and identify users for the main account holder – Name/Surname and email address. This information is also used by the website to send automated communications to authenticate the user, set or change their password and allow them access to the site. Mediamerge do not use or share this user information for other purposes. All sub user data is permanently removed within 12 months of cancellation  of the primary account.
