Lesson description
This is a small group activity with a specialist teacher within the school’s practice in a dedicated science classroom. Lab 13 has been recognised by Ofsted as an example of good practice in science teaching.
This lesson was prompted by assessed misconceptions in the class relating to the topic of forces. The pupils decide to focus on how different objects move through water. The labs practical, hands-on ethos encourages the children to explore the question and discover answers for themselves.
This session will allow the group to feed back to their peers.
